Membership
The coven of the Whispering Spirits is open to all people who are interested in learning the craft and becoming a active member of the CWS.
We do not discriminate against people because of gender, sexual preference, or race, etc. We feel that the diversity of an individual gives them a unique view of things, and we welcome that kind of growther. Because we are ADULT coven, we hold only two Sabbats for children, spouse and guest twice a year (Yule and Ostara).
All other Sabbats and Esbats are closed to children and guest. We honor both the Lady and Lord and a basic set of beliefs. Furthermore we implement a "year and a day". In other words, after 1 year and 1 day, YOU can asked to be considered for membership. You must come to us, no the other way around.
Joining a coven is a big step and a commitment, and should not be taken lightly. Take some time to think about it, and make sure that it is the path you wish to take.
To Join us, you must first meet the following requirements:
~You must be 21 years of age and muture in nature.
~You must be free of illegal drugs.
~You must have at least a basic knowledge of Wicca and Witchcraft.
~You must be of an open mind, kind hearted, and unjudgemental.
~You must be within driving distance of Sierra Vista area.
~You must be able to attend at least 50% of all meetings, classes, events, rituals, and workshops.
